How is it possible we are half way through 2017?! With many cooler nights still to come, I am finding myself reaching for some extra items to complete my daily routine. Of course, winter is the perfect time to stay in bed a bit longer with the electric blanket and watch some Netflix or catch up on my reading.
Cosrx Galactomyces Toner
I am loving Cosrx Galactomyces spray toner to add to my routine before I chuck on a sheet mask. It helps give me some extra nourishment to prevent any dryness that I may get thanks to winter. I have really noticed that even though my skin is very oily I still need to add in moisturisers, it’s just a matter of finding the right products to make it happen.

Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask
I have been using this every evening as the very last step of my skincare routine. It’s the second Cosrx product I’ve tried and I love it.
After using this on the daily I now see why so many people rave about this product. I have had some hit and many miss experiences with sleeping masks. With this sleeping mask, it’s been a hit for my skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a film behind or any stickiness.
I’ll be posting a review on this soon, once I do I’ll add the link in this post.
Innisfree Real Rose Mask
This has been such a treat for my skin. I use this mask as an extra treatment instead of an actual cleansing mask. It’s a thick gel consistency and it sits on my skin.
I like to apply it as an after an exfoliation session to help soothe my skin and reap moisture from rose products.
This is also a review post in the making and I’ll be adding the link once I have posted it.
Simplistic Wonder Essence
This little bottle full of amber liquid goodness is so fantastic! I don’t know what exactly is in the ingredients list that makes me love it so much. As soon as I apply it to my face I can feel it sinking into my skin. My skin has a bit of a glow going on after this has absorbed into my skin.
I think I have a bit of a running theme going on here with yet another future blog post.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
This product has me going back over and over again and it will be in my future routines for many months to come. One of my all time favourite skin ingredients is Hyaluronic Acid. Pretty much anything with Hyaluronic Acid makes it into my wishlist. It may be the way this is formulated that makes me so obsessed with it.
Whamisa Organic Flowers Eye Essence
This one, oh let me tell you! I love, love, love this eye essence! Since I’ve started taking progress photos I have noticed my eye area needs some serious TLC. One of my main concerns is the amount of discoloration and dryness under my eyes.
I was really keen on trying Whamisa products but wanted to try something different other than their popular toner, since I have way too many toners in my stash.
So I use this eye essence as I do my first treatment essence but for my eye area. After I have applied this under and above my eye area I go in with my eye cream (currently loving my Benton eye cream). After that mini process, I go in with my Foreo IRIS to tap the eye cream into the delicate skin area. I am taking my eye care very seriously.

Her Final Breath By Robert Dugoni
For my monthly favourites, I wanted to add a little sprinkle of lifestyle. In a way this is part of my skincare routine, I love reading and if I’m not watching YouTube videos while I wear a mask, I am reading. Currently, I am really into the Tracy Crosswhite series by Robert Dugoni.
My favourite genre of reading is mystery books but I do like to dab in other genres occasionally.
I recently finished reading book 1 of this series and really enjoyed it so I am on to book 2. You’ll probably see book 3 either on my next favourites or empties, depending on how much time I devote to laying in bed with a mask…..
I’d love to hear any book recommendations you may have.
