Hello there and thank you for stopping by.
This is a follow up to my original ‘Okay I’m baring it all‘ post where I got up close and personal with my skin.
I apologise in advance for the graphic images coming up and my original post may have scared off some people from my blog.
It’s embarrassing for me to see my skin like this but this is the whole reason for my blog. I have tried so many lotions and potions, treatments, procedures to try to heal some of this.
I went to see a dermatologist some years back and he basically told me there was nothing he could do for me.
I’ve been determined to try to help myself with over the counter speciality products and some devices I’ve purchased. In my quest of trying to find ways to lessen or heal my damaged skin I thought I’d blog about my experiences with such products and devices. I hope this may be of some help with any of you in case you struggle with the same issue.
I know that it’s highly likely the only way to make any serious changes is by getting one of those intense peels or other professional procedures. Before I decide to go through something so intense and expensive I want to experiment with other ways first.
So this is my 2 month progress and I’ll post another update in a couple of months time.
During the time in between these photos I’ve been using my PMD device on a weekly basis. I’m planning to hopefully have a review of it in the next week or so. Unfortunately, I’ve had to stop using my PMD for about the last 5 weeks.
I think I may have an allergic reaction to something and it’s turned my face red, almost rash like. Towards the bottom there are some spotty parts that are my skin tone. So I’ve been super gentle with my skin and have been focusing on providing lots of moisture. I think I may have become allergic to an eye cream I was using, anytime I put anything on my skin even water to start my skin routine it would burn. At that point I hadn’t used anything new other than that eye cream, that is why I believe it is the source of my reaction.
I’ve been rotating speciality products using Alpha-H liquid gold, Alpha-H liquid gold serum, Peter Thomas Roth’s Camu Camu Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask. I occasionally will swap out one of those with Alpha-H Liquid Laser or Alpha-H Beauty Sleep Power Peel.
Wow I really use a lot of Alpha-H products, I swear it’s not sponsored, I’ve spent my own money to purchase these products, excluding the Beauty Sleep Power Peel as I received a deluxe sample from an order I had put through with one of my orders.
Well until next time, I’m wishing you the best skin health.
